Rebecca McNamara

Rebecca McNamara grew up in New Jersey, where she completed over 15 years of dance training in both NJ and NYC. She has been sharing her love of tap dance for more than 25 years and has over 20 years of experience as a professional educator. Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Instruction and Curriculum and a second Master’s in Reading. After two decades as a classroom teacher, she now serves as a Reading Interventionist, continuing her passion for helping students grow and succeed.

Since moving to Steamboat Springs in 2012, Rebecca has been an active member of the local dance community, performing and choreographing for Steamboat Dance Theatre. She recently launched Tappy Hour, an adult tap group that celebrates rhythm and community through tap dance. Rebecca is thrilled to share her love of tap dance with dancers at Bella Movement, inspiring them to discover the joy and expression of this timeless art form.
